Thank you for choosing Artist’s Touch Mobile Massage as your massage and bodywork provider. In order to provide the best service possible to our clients, we have implemented the following policies:
Appointment Times
Each appointment for in home sessions includes 15 minute setup time and greeting, 60 or 90 minutes of hands on time, and 15 minutes for cleanup. Please make sure to allot the appropriate amount of time when scheduling.
For in office sessions, please arrive 10 minutes early to allot time for greeting, and 50 or 80 minutes of hands on time.
Scheduling Policy
All new clients must request an appointment prior to scheduling. You will then be contacted to go over your current needs, location, previous massage history, and any additional relevant information.
To schedule you must prepay a deposit of 50% of the appointment amount to confirm your appointment day and time. This deposit will go towards your appointment cost. Should you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will forfeit this deposit. You will be granted a one time courtesy with less than 24 hours notice to move your deposit to your rescheduled appointment. If you reschedule at the 24 hour mark more than (3) times in succession you will forfeit your deposit, and will be required to prepay the full amount moving forward.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the deposit of 50% of the price of the scheduled service. Clients who do not show up for a scheduled appointment or notify us in advance will be billed for the full price of the scheduled service. We understand that emergencies and illnesses can arise, therefore last minute cancellations due to things such as verifiable emergencies, illnesses or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, however this is to be determined at the practitioner’s discretion.
Massage Termination
Only professional massage and bodywork services for relaxation or therapeutic purposes are offered with this massage practice. Massage services will be terminated immediately in the event of inappropriate conduct of any kind. This includes harassment, threatening speech or behavior, sexual advances or requests, or disrespectful actions or language. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If the massage is terminated for any of these reasons, full payment for the scheduled session is still required, and the appropriate authorities will be contacted.
Client Cleanliness Policy
To ensure a comfortable and hygienic experience for all clients, we kindly ask that for your appointment you are clean and fresh. Please take the time to address any excessive body odor, as well as remove sand, dirt, or debris from your hair, hands, and feet. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for everyone.
Draping Policy
Clients will be appropriately draped with a sheet and/or towel at all times during their massage. Only areas of the body that are currently being treated will be exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.
Pet Policy
We are avid animal lovers! However some pets are not happy with strangers in their home. If this is the case for your pet, please make sure to have accommodations to make them more relaxed during the duration of your session.
